I was sitting and listening to LCD Soundsystem today, and thought to my self "Damn, why didn't i post this before". I came across the track Someone Great and was shiit, this i dope. Anyways, I come home and finds a new track from the genius of Kid Cudi, and couldn't believe it, he remixed the exact same track of LCD - WOW! When that being said; I could have expected a little more from Kid Cudi, might be my expectations that are too high, but that man can definitely shoot out a better version than this. Just to mention one thing, the track is only 1.59 min compared to the original that is 6.25 min (though that's a bit too long). All in all, both of the tracks are doing it - check it out!

Beirut's originality and briliantness can't be emphasized enough. But on the side to his own carrier he has a lot of project. Among these he started to remix a lot of song within the genre of hip hop, which must be said is a long way from his own normal work. He remixed all of Jay-Z' album "American Gangster" and created his own "Beirut Gangster"; really worth checking out his development of the different tracks, some better than others... Beirut makes the beats a bit more laid back and less hip hopish on a path closer to is normal work.

Beside that he remixed for a lot of other artists and the best result from here is "Hope" by Nas. Also in honor of Nas' new album, which contains some sweet tracks (always a curtain standart with Nas) I thought it would be suitable to post:

The highly respected Danish producers/DJs Dj T.O.M and Dj Buda is the one's behind the name and the new cd and single from Lulu Rouge.

The electronic sound is in some ways very similar to what you can get from Trentemøller. The clash between the dub, minimalistic and melancholy sounds creates in some way some of the same vibes, though Lulu Rouge is still in it's own class.

Okay, so been pretty busy during Roskilde, but it was a massive succes and I will just continue posting some of the artists.

Lykke Li have had a few singles this year and will clearly make a name out of her selve with her high quality packed album Youth Novels.

This song is remixed by Fred Falke, which just pump it a bit a makes a bit more danceble.
